TJ's

TJ's is a traditional, family-run independent pub on Milton Road in Gravesend, occupying a roughly 200-year-old building that was formerly the British Tar and which displays historic photographs of the local area. Run by owners Iris and Tom, it emphasises a welcoming, community atmosphere, serves home-made food daily including a Sunday roast, and is dog-friendly.

It has two function rooms (the Milton Room for up to about 16 people and the Coach House for up to about 40), both opening onto a large secluded garden, making it a popular venue for celebrations, birthdays and wakes.
