The Bat & Ball is an independent pub on Wrotham Road in Gravesend, located roughly 700 metres from Gravesend railway station and reopened under new management in summer 2022. It is a traditional yet modernised venue with two indoor bar areas and a spacious beer garden, showing live sport via TNT Sports and Sky Sports and offering pub games such as a pool table and darts.
Food is served, with Sunday lunch noted as a particular highlight by customers. As of CAMRA's October 2022 survey the pub did not offer cask real ale, which the local CAMRA branch described as an unfortunate omission it hoped would be rectified.
