The Echo on Old Road East in Gravesend is a small, intimate community pub just a few minutes from the town centre, with two drinking areas served by one bar, one with darts and machines and the other quieter with comfortable seating and a real fire. Recently refurbished and run by managers Lorraine and Lee, it serves regular ales including Gales Seafarers and Sharp's Doom Bar.
It is known among regulars for its complimentary roast potatoes on Sundays, plus a weekly meat raffle and bonus ball, and has been favourably covered in KentOnline's "Secret Drinker" pub review series.
