Prince of Orange

1 Old Road East

The Prince of Orange is a large traditional Tudor-style pub on Old Road East in Gravesend, owned by Stonegate. Taken over and tastefully refurbished in 2014, it has two comfortable lounges with real fires, a function room, and serves lunch and evening meals; it is dog-friendly and has hosted occasional beer festivals, monthly quizzes and a weekly chess club. The atmosphere is described as quiet and relaxing with muted TVs (no Sky) and occasional background music, and CAMRA noted that by late 2021 it had stopped selling real ale, offering real cider instead.

It is well regarded by customers, holding a high rating across hundreds of reviews and a top food hygiene rating.
