Mid Kent Golf Club is a long-established parkland golf club on Singlewell Road in Gravesend, founded in 1909 with a course originally designed by Willie Park Jnr and opened by figures including A J Balfour and Harry Vardon; the current 18-hole layout dates from 1972. The club has a thriving membership of around 800, including roughly 650 playing members and 150 social members, with ladies', juniors' and other sections, plus a clubhouse overlooking the 18th green offering catering and event hosting, and it welcomes visitors and societies on green fees throughout the year.
The on-site pro shop, run independently under professional management, sells leading-brand equipment and offers golf lessons, club repairs, expert advice, equipment and trolley hire, and free parking.
