Moyibo (Moyibo Foods) is an independent Afro-Caribbean meat and grocery store on Queen Street in Gravesend, stocking West African and Caribbean foodstuffs. It maintains a Facebook page and a Google business website, and is referenced in Gravesham Borough Council records for the premises at 7-9 Queen Street.
The shop drew local press attention in June 2023 when Gravesham environmental health officers found illegal West African 'smokies' (banned skin-on scorched meat) in a freezer during an unannounced inspection. The store was temporarily closed for cleaning and repairs and later reopened after electrical and hot-water works, with an improvement notice issued over floor conditions.
Customer feedback is sparse, though at least one positive comment praises it as a good Afro-Caribbean food store; some directories list the business at a nearby Queen Street number (16).
