Family Matters

Family Matters (Family Matters UK) is a registered charity on Wrotham Road in Gravesend, established in 1990 and described as the largest provider of childhood sexual abuse and rape therapy in the country. It offers specialist counselling, listening and information services for adults and children aged 14+ who are survivors of rape and sexual abuse across Kent and the London Borough of Bexley.

Its counselling team are qualified professionals whose expertise spans trauma, post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, bereavement, self-esteem and child protection; therapy is typically delivered as up to twelve weekly one-to-one 50-minute sessions.
